Golden Chia Pudding

Golden Chia Pudding is the perfect way to start the day: Chia is naturally high in essential fatty acids, protein and fibre so it will keep you satiated longer than a traditional cereal. The addition of turmeric is truly adding a food as medicine element with it’s high anti-inflammatory action whilst cinnamon will help to control your blood sugar levels.

Golden Chia Pudding

Ingredients:

4 cups milk of choice, or try our tip below
1 cup chia seeds
3 tablespoons of maple syrup
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon himalayan pink sea salt

Method:

  1. In a large bowl whisk together all ingredients until well combined.
  2. Cover and place in the fridge for 30minutes, whisking every 10 minutes to prevent lumps forming.
  3. Leave overnight in the fridge.
  4. Serve with yogurt and fruit of choice and an extra sprinkle of cinnamon.

Store in fridge

Wellness Tip

I like to change the liquid up in this recipe and often combine 2 cups of coconut milk with 2 cups of cooled BBN Female Health Tea, especially the week prior to my period when my sugar cravings start to rise. Give it a try and let me know what you think in the comments below.
