Ingredients:
1 cup pureed pumpkin
1 frozen banana
1/2tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp grated ginger
1 tbsp flaxseed meal
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 oranges (peeled and segmented)
1 tbsp Manuka honey
Method:
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Add additional liquid as needed to get desired consistency.
Options:
No pureed pumpkin, used steamed sweet potato instead
Want more protein? Add protein powder, nut butter or seeds.
No Manuka? Swap to maple syrup, raw honey, 1 soaked date or rice malt syrup instead.
