Apple Pecan Muesli

This Apple Pecan Muesli is the perfect quick breakfast when you don’t have time to cook. Having a good amount of protein and healthy fats a small bowl will fire up your brain and keep it focused for several hours. Cinnamon will also help maintain good blood sugar levels allowing for a little natural sweetness from the dried apple.

APPLE PECAN MUESLI

Ingredients:

¼ cup flax seed meal
¾ cup almond meal
½ cup sunflower seeds
¼ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
½ cup chopped pecans
¼ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup chopped dried apple (preservative free)
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons vanilla essence

Method:

In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients.

Serve with your choice of milk &/or yogurt and fresh fruit.

Makes 4-6 serves
